Offset Ink can use in plastic bag printing?

Recently, we received a special demand from a Libyan customer, who requested offset ink to print on plastic bags. As we all know, plastic bags have a smooth surface and cannot be penetrated and dried. Therefore, flexographic ink is often used. Offset ink is generally used for paper and cardboard. Through the video sent by the customer, we learned that it was a small Indian workshop that their Indian friend sent him to print plastic bags with offset ink. Because offset ink is relatively cheap compared to other inks, it is very likely to be able to print with offset ink in the Indian market.

At the request of the customer, we conducted an experiment in our laboratory using ordinary transparent plastic with our LED UV ink. The result is that the ink can adhere to it, but it is not resistant to friction and will fall off when rubbed by hand. But we know that some bags on the market will have a little permeability, so it is still possible.

Through this customer inquiry and experiment, we feel that there is nothing you can't do, only what you can't think of. We need to learn from the Indian market in this regard.
